Alden and I went to the Transit Museum this morning. He thanked me by not taking a nap this afternoon. It's a very exciting place, the twain moosam.

A few kind souls have requested that I update this thing. Here are some blurbs of the Now/resolution updates:
  • The gluten-free way of life is difficult for a bread, pizza and pasta eater. There was a day a week or so ago on which I called Ian to request that he bring gluten free beer home with him, because I was going to order us pizza for dinner. I'm still not sure if it's funny or really sad that neither of us realized just how ridiculous this was until I had actually dialed Robertas' number. I can tell you that at the time it was mostly sad. On February first, we are ordering pizza.
  • I have been feeling better, with no tummy aches so far this month, even with some sort of nasty stomach virus knocking down nearly everyone we know. Yikes! Also, my blood pressure seems to have lowered?? Not sure if that's related...
  • Coffee drinking increasing. Not going to worry about that right now.
  • Alden and I will soon be spending lots of time with a sweet little baby! No, I'm not pregnant. I got another babysitting job! I am really excited about this little lady and her amazing mama and papa. Hopefully Monsieur Le Bun will be amenable to the addition of a wee one to our routine. He's really good when older kiddos come over to stay for a bit without their mums and dads and I think on some level he understands what's going on, but only time will tell. Unlike many of his buddies who have (or are about to have) little siblings, Alden will have us to himself at bedtime and on weekends, mostly, so I'm hoping we will be spared that sort of new baby jealousy. Or at least, not on the same scale.
There are no more bullet bulletins that come to mind. Blogging feels weird. Not bad weird. Just weird.
